Hoy queremos hablarles de una marca de joyas
recientemente salida al mercado que en
AF Moda nos encanta y con la que tenemos especial conexión: Se trata de Taonga.
Taonga es una expresión maorí que significa “Todo lo Bello sea Tangible o Intangible”
y está asociada con valores como la belleza, la ilusión y la delicadeza hechas
artesanía. Se trata de joyas artesanales trabajadas con minerales, plata y
otros elementos, en las que el factor moda y ponibilidad está siempre presente,
de forma que podemos llevarlas con todos nuestros looks en el día a día así
como en ocasiones especiales. Cada joya es única, ya que trabajan producciones
a muy pequeña escala, dando especial cabida a la personalización. Lo más
interesante es que los minerales con los que trabajan tienen un aporte
energético distinto, haciendo de las joyas especies de “Talismanes” que ayudan
a mantener la calma, a dormir mejor, a alejar los miedos, a sentirnos protegidas,
etc. de forma que adquieren un valor todavía mayor que trasciende la moda y la
imagen.
Su fundadora, una joven emprendedora llena de
ilusión y fuerza, ha crecido en el entorno artesanal y tradicional, y encontró
una manera muy personal de crear una empresa de algo que siempre la ha
apasionado como es el mundo de la moda, especialmente de la joyería.
Cuando les contamos que tenemos una relación
especial con Taonga, es porque
además de poder conocer el producto, tocarlo, apreciar su belleza y energía, en
AF Moda tuvimos el honor de trabajar
para ellos en la Dirección de Arte para Moda de todo lo que fue su campaña de lanzamiento, diseñando la estética
general para fotografía y video de su primera colección, que aparecen en su
página web.
Fue una experiencia maravillosa!. El equipo de
trabajo fue increíble, y la verdad es que pudimos disfrutar de esas conexiones
mágicas que pocas veces se dan en el mundo laboral de la moda. Las Modelos
fueron geniales, sumamente profesionales y comprometidas con su trabajo, además
de ser guapísimas ambas. La fotografía estuvo a cargo de Nacho Rodríguez, un artista y un creador maravilloso que goza
además de su increíble talento del don maravilloso de ver y hacerlo todo
posible. Para él y su cámara no hay límites, y trabajar con él fue una
verdadera delicia. El Video estuvo a
cargo del maravilloso equipo de DoxaProducciones. Con su lente captaron momentos maravillosos del producto y la
esencia real de la marca, donde la armonía, la belleza y la delicadeza salen a
relucir constantemente. Sin duda alguna, de los mejores profesionales con los
que en AF Moda hemos tenido la oportunidad de trabajar.

Today we want to tell you about a jewelry brand that
has recently come out, a brand that we in AFModa like a lot and with whom we have a special connection: This is Taonga.
Taonga is a Maori expression meaning "Everything that is beautiful, being Tangible or Intangible"
and is associated with values such as beauty, illusion and delicacy made
crafts. These handmade jewels are worked with minerals, silver and other
items, in which fashion and “wearability” factor is always present, so that we
can use them in all our looks, for everyday and special occasions. Each piece
is unique because they work on very small scale productions, with a special
place for customization. The most interesting is that the minerals they work
with have a different energy supply, becoming into sort of "Talismans"
that help maintain calm, sleep better, to ward off fears, to feel protected,
etc. so these jewels acquire an even greater value that transcends fashion and
image.
Its founder, an entrepreneurial young girl full of
hope and strength, has grown in the artisanal and traditional setting, and
found a very personal way to create a company of something that has always been
her passion, the world of fashion, especially jewelry.
When we tell them we have a special relationship with Taonga is because besides being able to
know the product, touch it, appreciate its beauty and energy, AF Moda had the honor to work for them
as the Fashion Art Direction for
their launch campaign, designing the overall aesthetics, photography and video
of their first collection, shown on their website.
It was a wonderful experience!. The working team was
amazing, and the truth is that we were so lucky and could enjoy those magical
connections that rarely occur in the working world of fashion. The models were
great, very professional and committed to their work, besides being both
gorgeous. The photograph was given by NachoRodriguez, an artist and creator who enjoys of an incredible talent, and
besides has the wonderful gift of seeing and making everything possible. For
him and his camera there are no limits, and working with him was a real treat.
The Video was responsibility of the wonderful team of Doxa Productions. With their lens, they captured wonderful moments
that transmitted the real essence of the brand, where harmony, beauty and
delicacy come to the fore constantly. Without a doubt, these people are some of
the best professionals in the fashion world that we in AF Moda have had the opportunity to work.
